Crockpot Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal
Good Morning!
I don't know about you but I'm definitely not someone who has always found it easy to get breakfast into me in the morning - I'm probably more likely to do a workout than eat a good breakfast in the morning - because of this, for years I struggled with night hunger and eating which aided heavy feelings along with my weight - so I started small, a banana, Mandarin, grapes or my Shakeology - AND WATER!! Small and easy - still fuelling your body - which I still do for the most part in the morning - however once you start feeding yourself in the morning you will find you just start getting more of an appetite daily.

With my busy family of 5, people are always up at different times in the morning - this recipe was wonderful! Everyone had breakfast ready when they got up AND my house smelt amazing!! My son refers to it as apple crumble oatmeal lol which I think is great!
1 1/2 C milk (almond, skim or 1%)
1 1/2 C water
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 C uncooked steel cut oats
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3 tbsp agave syrup or pure maple syrup
2-3 apples (peeled and cubed)
Mix all ingredient in crockpot before bed - keep on low/warm until morning and voila!! Perfect - easy morning for everyone!!
