Crustless Quiche

​This recipe was shared with me from one of my very good friends and it has become a staple in my house.  Super easy and flexible. There are great ways to change up the savoury flavours of this dish.  Quite often we change up the ham for broccoli, sometimes adding feta cheese, bacon, bell peppers, sun dried tomatoes, it all depends on what our taste buds are calling for, really.  Another great thing about this recipe is that, it is something that my family goes back for later or the next day.  Anyway, enough talk 😆, hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!  Have a great day

Sundried tomato chicken sliders

1lb ground chicken 1 onion finely diced 2 tbsp sun dried tomato packed in oil 2 tbs chopped basil 2 pressed garlic cloves dash of salt (pink hym, black pepper 2 tbsp coconut oil 1 egg Put all ingredients in a bowl, with your hands (make sure you wash them first 😬 lol) make sure to mix well and mould into 2-3 inch size rounds, flatten a little and throw them on the grill.... before I knew it and they were ready and gone, making it quick, simple and delicious. plus clean up was pretty simple.... Yup, works for me 😁😁 Top with personal favs such as bacon and onions

Zucchini Soup

Made this awesome recipe at a clients 😁 Our ingredients 👇 1 onion finely chopped 2 garlic cloves minced 1 tbsp butter 1 tbsp olive oil 3-4 med zucchini 3 cups veggie broth 1 can evaporated milk salt pepper thyme merlot cheese (small amount for garnish) In a frying pan, combine onioin, garlic, butter, salt, papper, thyme, and olive oil and allow to cook over low heat until tender but not dark bown In the mean time - grate zucchini, placing a small amount in a bowl and to the side for garnish Same with the cheese When onion and garlic mix is ready add veggie broth and grated zucchini, continue cooking over low/med heat until comes to a gentle boil, remove from heat, transfer to blender, blend until puree, add evaporated milk, blend again, transfer to pan or larger pot to simmer on low until ready                                             ...

Super simple Perfect for on the go Great school snack (my daughter loves stuff like this) Wash and Cut cucumber in half Cut the cucumber thin following its length (I used a cheese slicer) Cut favourite veggies such as carrots, celery etc. into small stripes (julienne or matchstick style) Cut Small sticks of Mozzarella (if desired) Assemble as desired and roll 💕👌🏻 Enjoy!

Rock tonight's dinner with everything made easy  Pass on the pots and pans for the night and enjoy something a little different 💕 Choose you favourites or use 👇🏻 Awesome recipe (the marinade is the bomb!) For this recipe Marinade pieces of stewing beef Overnight in stir fry/marinade sauce. Cut green pepper, red onion to desired sizes Cube pineapple And chop off some broccoli crowns Assemble Cook on stove top grill with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil over medium heat until cooked til desired (rare, medium,well) Hope you Enjoy!

I thought I would share my recipe for my stir fry/marinade sauce, I love this one because it came out one day just being creative in the kitchen, we have used it ever since for many meals and enjoy it every time 💖 I've only ever made it in portions the size below, freeze portions or use it for mutliple meals during meal prep or whatever 😉 In a large bowl combine 1 carton Veggie Broth 1 Pkg dry Onion soup mix 1 Garlic glove Dash of Black Pepper Approx 2 tbsp Honey 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar 1 Tbsp Soya Sauce Approx 1/6 Cup Italian dressing Oregano Basil Ground Tumeric Mix Well and cook with Stir fry, Use as base for crock pot meals AND use as a Marinade Enjoy!

Tiny Tweeks

Good Morning Everyone! I was up until the wee hours this morning, trying to clean up my phone... um wow, that took FOREVER~😫😱😜 I had like 2000 pictures on my phone and 1300 (from my trip to Nova Scotia) we lost somewhere in limbo between my phone and icloud... which I have never even used before lol, I had to manually transfer them from my phone before I could clear them cause for some reason my computer wasn't picking them up either... SO needless to say it's done, and I'm glad that's over 😀 lol (Anyone who knew my mom well, lets just say - I could have almost pulled a Brenda 😂😂😂LOL) While temporarily escaping from my long, frustrating, interaction with icloud, I thought about how many times I, and my whole family sometimes, made tiny tweeks that made big impacts on our habits... I thought about how sometimes, getting the workout in is almost the easy part... and how I learnt to take step at a time... if you eat something you werent't planning on eating, ...

10 Day Plank Challenge

Hello hello 😁 My first plank challenge experience, I fell in love with the idea of pushing through a 10 minute plank as soon as I heard it. (It was actually 18 minutes but 10 is a good start lol) I really struggle with planks and holding moves... to feel the burn is to put it mildly as I can't even put into words the flames I feel when attempting these moves sometimes... so it was perfect for me! I think I responded before actually even thinking it through LOL By day 3 I was asking myself what the heck I'd gotten myself into, HA! But shaking, sweating, tired or whatever... I also felt strong - I felt awesome when I finished actually! It's fun! I love the interaction betweeen everyone, it's nice to see 💕 So FIRST OF ALL - each day that everyone comes out, THANK YOU! Boston Chicken Wrap

OH YUM - perfect for the warmer days, light, simple, delicious, and SO healthy Boston Lettuce is a staple in my house, it has replaced bread and buns for us, as I have a hard time digesting such foods, and my family has come to enjoy and even recommend it to other people (which I think is pretty cool to hear) This is a super quick meal that works for lunches or dinners and is flexible - prefer beef? Or maybe you just eat Veggie - whatever your fancy you can always make it work with a wrap and with the low calories theres no thinking twice - other than maybe you would like another one... I personally favor onions so I always try to squeeze them in there, however my daughter doesn't feel the same so sometimes we just have our basic chicken, feta and a little mustard on our boston lettuce Can't complain when the prep time is maybe 5 minutes - that kinda simplicity makes me smile

Chocolate peanut BETTER balls

So this super easy recipe came to my head oneday when I was craving cookies - specifically, a recipe my mom used to make with us - many know them as "YUM YUM cookies" or "Haybales"... however, we don't even keep sugar in the house most of the time, and this was one of those times... so life goes on, right?.. RIGHT! so grab the mixing bowl and lets see what we can finango here.... ingredients my mom used - sugar, butter, coconut, oats, cocoa So in a bowl I mixed my dry ingredients (same as moms cookies) Oats unsweetened coconut one package of chocolate shakeology chopped peanuts Than I added Honey and Natural peanut butter little by little until I got the texture I desired **NOT RUNNY** just so that everything is moist and will stick together - be sure to mix thoroughly tho scoop out with a teaspoon and roll into bite size balls place on parchment paper and top with Natural Peanut Butter (I mix a little honey with my PB) Makes 1 1/2 - 2 dozen depending on size y...

Homemade Tomato Sauce

This is one of those awsome recipes that you can tamper with and put your own spin on... which are typically my favourite kinds because they are so versatile... anything that doesn't limit me is my friend lol. First one was basic - just tomato, garlic, oregano, and extra virgin olive oil The second, there was a little more added, to use for a chili base, chicken sauce, pasta sauce, etc. Enjoy and be sure to let me know your thoughts

Chocolate shakeology Pudding

Holy Yum!! You wanna endulge without the guilt?! This is my friend, is the answer! 11/2 scoops chocolate shakeology 1 ripe medium avocado 1 medium banana (chunks) 1 C unsweetened almond milk 1 tsp lemon juice (fresh) combine and blend until smooth (add almond milk if too think) refrigerate at least 1 hour or until set

Simple Sugar Free Crockpot AppleSauce

I just love this recipe! No fuss, No big mess, No sugar, No preservatives, No gluten, No artificial colours/flavors, No b.s.... Just simple, real food made easy so my family and I can enjoy it rather than the crap food that is made so readily available everywhere else. One of the hardest things about eating healthy is that healthy foods are not as readily available as the other stuff. This is one little way to help simplify that. Mini mason jars are perfect single serving portion sizes, store nicely/securely and are perfect for travel and lunches. Take 8-10 apples, wash and cut into large pieces Just cover bottom of crockpot with water - add apples Let cook for 6 hours Blend/Mash/Squash to desired Consistancy If desired add a small dash of cinnamon and nutmeg Serve warm or dish, cover & refrigerate

Mustard Lime Chicken

This is a recipe I found online which we really enjoyed so I thought I would share 👍 We had it with asparagus and broccoli. 😍 21 day fix approved 😀👍 Baked Mustard Lime Chicken Serves:4 Ingredients 1 pound skinless boneless chicken breast ½ cup fresh lime juice ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped ¼ cup dijon mustard 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon chili powder ½ teaspoon celtic sea salt ½ teaspoon pepper Instructions Combine lime juice, cilantro, mustard, olive oil, chili, salt and pepper Pulse/blend until ingredients are well combined Rinse chicken breasts, pat dry and place in a 7 x 11 inch baking dish Pour marinade over chicken, cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes or up to 6 hours Bake at 350° for 22 minutes uncovered, or until an instant read thermometer reads 165° Serve with extra sauce spooned over top

Beachbody's Mint and Avocado Green Smoothie

A Peek at Prep

Hello Again!  I get a lot of people asking for more help with Meal Prep... I get it..  It isn't the easiest thing to do if it isn't something you're used to doing. Some Container   Ideas are posted below.... You can also use Ziploc bags, Mason Jars, Empty Baby Food Jars, plastic/glass containers  etc... Don't be afraid to get creative.  If you have kids, nieces, nephews, grand kids etc - they could even decorate or personalize them for you, or you could find yourself having fun creating your own!  I'm one for packaging everything seperate because I am not one for blended flavours, and kinda picky about it SO glass or plastic locklids are what I find works best for me  I am also one for the Frozen Portions. I snack far too easily to have to wait when I'm hungry haha... A few meals that I will prep ahead and freeze are: mini pizzas chicken burgers small home made soup/chili portions sweet chili chicken Gluten ...

Mini Naan BBQ Chicken Pizza - also 21 day fix approved

These little babies are another one of my Favourites!  Aside from the fact that they are absolutely delicious and only count for 1 Red , 1/2 Blue , and 1/2 green  for 2 Pizzas (for the 21 day fix) - I love that I can freeze some and make my life easy.  Since my kids and I are always busy and on the go - grab and go stuff works best for us. What you need is 1 - 1&1/2 Cups Cooked Chicken Strips (white meat)  1 Small Onion Chopped Handful of Mushrooms Chopped 1/4 Cup Feta Cheese 1/2 Tomato Diced BBQ Sauce Toast mini Naans in the oven at 425 for 10-15 minutes   Sautee chopped mushroom, onion and celery in 1 TSP coconut oil, toss in a bowl and let cool while cooking chicken strips (I cook them in a pan with 1 TSP coconut oil OR bake them in the oven) Add Feta to mix in the bowl Using TBSP, dish out mixture on top of Naans, Same with the Chicken Top with tomato and drizzle of BBQ sauce (I make some with BBQ sauce and...

Strawberry Watermelon Shakeology

I absolutely LOVE watermelon, however, CAN'T STAND the texture of it, SO, I juice or blend them. One of my favourite summertime shakeology recipes is this simple one posted below, not to mention - with the benefits of shakeology and watermelon together - my body is just that much healthier! 1 Scoop/Pkg Strawberry Shakeology (add this last) 1/2 Cup Ice 1 Cup Juiced Watermelon 1/2 Cup Cold Water Shake well and garnish with Mint and Lemon if desired YOU CAN ALSO - blend ingredients together - will be thicker like a Slushy or smoothie just may want to add more ice.

Bunless Home Made Chicken Bugers - 21 day fix approved

WHAT YOU NEED 1lb Extra Lean Ground Chicken 1 Small Onion - Diced 1 Egg 1/4 Cup Feta Cheese 1 Garlic Clove - minced Mrs. Dash Spice Himalayin Salt Small Handful Chopped Mushrooms Assorted Sweet Bell Peppers (optional) ON THE SIDE Tomato Boston Lettuce Combine ground chicken, egg, diced onion, mushroom, spice, garlic, feta, salt and peppers in a bowl and knead together until well mixed. Form into patties about the size of the palm of your hand and 1/2 inch thick Cook well! - Fabulous on the bbq!!
